This article serves as a glossary of error messages that may be displayed during the configuration or use of Exago BI. A list of potential causes and remedies is also included.

Microsoft Azure is a cloud infrastructure for hosting files, databases, virtual machines, and web applications. Exago supports various forms of integration with Azure.

Visualizations, also known as charts or graphs allow data to be showcased in a visual format. They allow data to be scanned quickly for patterns and trends. Charts can be easily made and customized in ExpressViews, in as little as one click.

We highly recommend using a state server to manage Exago sessions. Often, the cause of timeout problems is related to not properly managing session state. In a high availability implementation, a state server is required.

When a Dashboard is run, it is displayed in a new tab called the Dashboard Viewer. Reports, Visualizations and other Dashboard content appear in rectangular Tiles on the Canvas. Reports, Visualizations and Filter tiles are interactive, as are any embedded web pages. The tiles can be set to refresh periodically, or can be refreshed manually.

To sort groups by the summary, or aggregate, calculation of each group of an Advanced Report, use Top/Bottom filters. Top/Bottom filters look for the highest or lowest values in a set, and then put those values in order. Any arbitrary cell in the report can be the Top/Bottom filter.

Roles are created to specify how a user or group of users interfaces with Exago. Roles can restrict access to folders or data objects. Roles can also override the General Settings.

The Scheduler Queue is a custom-built application library that sits between the Exago core application and any number of Scheduler Service instances and handles how schedule traffic is managed. The Scheduler Queue is completely optional, but configurations with multiple scheduler instances for which load balancing is a priority are ideally suited to making use of this feature.
